Hello and Welcome to my practice!
One of my great privileges in life is being afforded the opportunity to help others heal and grow from life hurts and challenges. Life transitions and struggles offer the opportunity to find great clairtiy of purpose, more meaninful relationships, increased confidence, and personal satisfaction. Therapy is a unique and personal journey built on mutual trust and respect. My style is gentle and yet direct, respectful, engaging, and collaborative. I work with individuals, couples, and families to help identify and solve personal life challenges, that arise individually, family realted, and couple relationship difficulties. Healing, growth, and transformation is the goal.
With approximately 20 years of experience providing care to clients struggling with various challenges, such as, underdeveloped identity issues due to codependency and/or unsatisfactory realtionships, anxiety, depression, conflict resolution skills, low self-esteem, grief, unresolved emotional pain, divorce adjustment, communication, and other life hurdles, I feel confident I can meet you where you are emotionally and help you overcome obstacles blocking your path to happiness and peace.
Various therapeutic approaches I implement with clients include, but not limited to, the following:
Family Systems Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy
Mindfulness based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Rational Emotive Therapy
Each client is unique, and together we will find an effective therapeutic approach/approaches to guide you towards change, growth, and healing.
While life brings much joy, life can also bring challenges, confusion, and pain. Everyone has a story and your story is important! No matter what you have been through or are currently facing, you get to decide what's next. Whether you are seeking individual, family or couples counseling, I can help you navigate life issues from a fresh perspective. Life can be messy at times and constantly changing and challenging us. My past military experience (US Army - active duty) and personal life experiences have provided me with a rich foundation of insight and empathy to walk alongside you emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
I look forward to meeting you and sharing in your journey!
